I don't have Coda so can't say where it may be, but look for a character encoding setting in the preferences. I suggest UTF-8 if you can find the setting.

It's as if not a single person has taken a look at the FCP timeline for the last eight years. The last four releases have all been almost exactly two years apart from each other. FCS3 came out in 2009 and that means two years later in 2011 we will see the next iteration. You don't need a divining rod to figure out where the next version is. Pretty simple really.
As to edit systems, the beauty of the advancements that Apple, Adobe, Avid and to some extent Sony have made means that editors are no longer locked in to one system. I have premiere loaded on my system right alongside FCP. Because of the freelance nature of the business I think there are not as many "universal" truths about which app you need to use to cut your show. I would still estimate that there are many more FCP installs in use than Avid.

This is a great offer. But how about unlimited calls to any states in the US? I think it would be very good for a subscriber who wants to call anywhere in the US. thanks.
AT&T's cellular plans are already nationwide. Unless of course you want unlimited international plans which I don't think are ever going to happen.

Once Yahoo started their AJAXy mail service (FireFox only for Macs of course) I thought Apple would have to upgrade their service. I'm hoping their new partnership with Google will bring interoperability between .Mac and Google features like Mail, Pages, Calendar, and more. :rolleyes:
But how about this for perspective: it only costs about $55 to join AND renew the .Mac service. Happily, Apple lets us use the serial numbers that come in any .Mac retail box, like the ones we buy at places we find at froogle.google.com et. al. I've joined and renewed at this price. We can even use these numbers to join at the end of a .Mac Trial. Makes .Mac seem twice worthwhile, donnit? ;)

To be honest, it's only another iPhone rumor to add to the mix. The idea that Apple is ploughing ahead with new models is nice, but let's wait for v1.0 first before we start speculating about 'new' features.

I checked online, and it says you need FamilyTalk 1400 � 2100 plans for A-List. Guess it's not updated yet?

The iPhone4 is way behind demand in Latin America. I can speak for 2 countries, where the price of the unlocked version is between 1100 and 1600 US$. An that price is where the minimum wage is about 250 - 400 US$.
In those countries, the BlackBerry is cheaper and more easy available. So yes, RIM is very very strong outside USA.
I hope Apple could make iPhones faster and make it more available. Until that happen BlackBerry will be #1 outside USA. :(

I think google has a lock on the map thing. I can't see apple employees driving around remapping the world to get their own data base
